#MexNPNursery Our favourite Ice cream flavour. We tasted 5 flavours of Ice cream and then made a bar chart to show the results. Mint Chocolate chip was the winner. So this is the flavour ice cream we will make when we are Scientist tomorrow.

#MexNPNursery Sports day. We had lots of fun on Sports day with out parents. We had sack races, egg and spoon and even a donkey race. We finished off with a hurdle race and a running race. The parents must be really proud as all the children took part and did their best.

#MexNPNursery How do we stay clean? The children told me how they stay clean at home.
"You get a bath or shower." "You need to brush your teeth." "I put my toothpaste on my brush and it buzzes. Mummy then checks they are clean."

Year 2 have started their Geography topic about Rainforests by learning about the continents and oceans of the world. They had great fun making a play dough model of the continents and oceans! #MexNPGeography

Thank you to Mexborough Business Centre for showing us around your coal mining displays today. This will really help our understanding of our coal mining history topic!⛏️ #MEXNP

Year 2 have started learning about Henri Rousseau and Mark Hearld in Art and Design. We looked at some of their work and created collages of our favourite pieces! We loved the colours and wildlife in the pieces. #MexNPArt

Year 3/4 loved making their own fossils today as part of our science unit on rocks! We thought it was fascinating how different types of fossils are made and how they show us what life was life thousands of years ago!🧪🦕👨‍🔬 #MEXNP #MEXNPScience
